In February 2019, Ford announced the fourth-generation Focus ST for the European market which is set to be launched in Summer 2019.
The Focus ST is offered with a choice of either a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine with a 280 PS power output or a 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine with a 190 PS power output. As standard, all models come with a six-speed manual transmission however a new performance-optimized seven-speed automatic transmission (which includes wheel-mounted paddle-shifters) is also available as an option.
On the exterior, the Focus ST features a revised grille, unique 18 or 19-inch alloy wheels, larger rear spoiler, twin-exit tailpipes and a rear diffuser. In October 2017, Porsche announced the 911 Carrera T (Touring), offering the base Carrera drivetrain but with shorter rear axle ratio, mechanical differential lock, PASM Sport lowered suspension, Sport Chrono package and sports exhaust as standard. Additional features include a reduced sound insulation, light-weight glass side/rear windows, Sport-Tex seats, a shortened shift lever, deletion of the rear seats and communication system (with their re-addition available as a no-cost option), Carrera S wheels, as well as optional rear-wheel steering, PDK transmission and bucket seats.
