In the North American market, the Fiesta ST became available in early 2013 for the 2014 model year, unveiled at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show as part of a larger mid-cycle refresh for the Fiesta. The North American Fiesta ST is offered as a five-door hatchback variant (curb weight 2,720 lbs, 1,234 kg, manufactured in Cuautitl?n Izcalli, Mexico) instead of the three-door hatchback offered in Europe, China, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa (curb weight 2563 lbs, 1163 kg, manufactured in Cologne, Germany).

The second generation Nissan Primera was launched in the end of 1995 in Japan, and in the autumn of 1996 in Europe. Unique in its class, new Primera featured multi link beam rear suspension with multi-link front suspension.
As before, in Europe the Primera was sold with 1.6 L and 2.0 L petrol engines and a 2.0 L diesel, with hatchback, saloon and estate bodystyles.
